An idyllic escape for a family or group of friends looking to escape to nature, this spot in the Cotswolds sits on a private nature reserve and holiday park surrounded by lakeside trails, rivers and acres of green space. Overlooking the lake from its balconies – this home is all about taking in the views. For this reason, we expect you'll spend most of your time on the terrace. Home-cooked meals around the dining area, however, are also particualrly special. On rainy days, the cinema room is likely to come in handy. Yet with access to the resort's award-winning spa, swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurant and activity centre – there's plenty to see and do amid the natural scenery here.

Home truths

While not all of the bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.

The on-site swimming pools, steam room, restaurants, tennis courts and fitness centre are shared with other guests staying at the resort.

Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there's one free parking space on the premises. There are three electric vehicle charging points on-site.

Please note Somerford Lagoon Lake is closed from October to March due to nesting birds.

There is a sofa bed that two children could sleep on in the communal area. The maximum capacity, however is twelve guests.
